Choosing the right air filter for your motorbike
More airflow means more power so choosing the right air filter for your MX and offroad bike is essential to good performance and durability. Dual layer foam restricts harmful sand, dirt, dust and other foreign debris from entering your engine while allowing maximum air flow for peak performance.
Gear2win stocks air filters, including hassle-free pre-oiled filters, which means you can place your foam filter in your bike and you are ready to go. No mess no fuss! Pre-oiled filters come in a sealed plastic bag.
PowerFlow Kits ensure a leak-proof, fool-proof fit with a rigid, lightweight, billet-aluminum cage that replaces your flimsy, plastic stock cage, and a billet aluminum flange with a rubber seal that bolts tight to your airbox.
Airbox covers are essential when washing your bike. They seal off the air box and don’t allow any water or dirt from entering the intake. For extra protection we recommend air filter skins which provide additional protection to your air filter in sandy, dusty conditions. Use our parts finder to find the correct air filter for your dirtbike.
Airfilter cleaning service
We also offer a washing service. Just return your dirty air filters to us at Gear2win and we wash and re-oil your used filter and return them to you ready to go. Service is €4.50 per airfilter.
Should you wish to take care of your air filter cleaning yourself, we offer a great range of filter cleaning products which are also available in Biodegradable form and are environmentally friendly. After cleaning has occurred, a good air filter oil should be applied which starts thin for deep penetration, then dries evenly to microcoat the foam cell walls with a shield that repels dirt while accelerating airflow. Our Gear2win experts are available by chat, telephone or email for any questions or advice you may need for your air filter and air filter accessories.
